alright. HALFWAY REPORT.

summer is halfway through, and i’m here to update on a few things:

Things I DID:

swam inside mt. pinatubo’s crater lake.
rode on an army truck up mt. pinatubo
ate the greatest pork sisig ever.
ate the greatest lechon manok ever.
went to splash island.
beat my friends in a magellan’s drop race – apparently, they “ate my dust.”
went on a diet.
played badminton.
ran and walked around.
went to YFC again.
became a youth camp facilitator.
worked as a PPCRV volunteer.
woke up at 12 nn.

Things I WANTED, AND NEVER GOT:

to ride a helicopter.
to watch john mayer’s concert.
to refund my money for buying john mayer’s concert tickets.
to go online in the morning.
to use the computer during daytime, basically.
an original windows 7.
a high-end master model zoid.
a good dormitory.

the epic math fail.

forgive me four sounding so grade conscious, dramatic and lame.

yes, it’s math. math. math. math.

that analytical subject which always catches the attentions of millions hours at a time. that subject known for countless (i think countful is more suitable, if there’s such a word) problems that send shivers down anyone’s spine, and give big, red, annoying defeatist “0″s on your papers. yeah, they also send parental reprimands down your ear canal.

and that last one would be abundant for me. well, i guess every bad thins about math is.

i just took my math long test today.

hooray?

hell no.

“how was it,” you ask?

hell bad.

telling ypou everything in detail would be futile – even i can;t remember what i carelessly did back there. it’s all a fuzz in my head. that would be beneficial for me, though. i wouldn’t want to remember my own stupidity and carelessness.

yes, careless. yes, stupid. who? me.

why?

isn’t it obvious? i’ve been talking about it since i started typing this post oput of total despair and desperation. it’s math, people. it makes business people happy, it makes students sad. very, very, very sad.

you could say that i’m ranting too much about senseless topics, but hey – i’m senseless myself. every time i take math tests, i always seem to flunk. yes, always. and, yeah, like all mistakes, they always happen.

i was just given a chance the last time i flunked. you could say that the stupid white card was a piece of tree pulp given to me by sheer sympathy for my gravity-respecting grades. yep, they always seem to fall for this subject.

…and it looks like it’ll go underground from here. it’s gone so low. well, low enough to rid me of the white tree pulp, that is.

“the epic math fail,” as it says right at the top. i just described how it is so. you judge if i’m overreacting, or just simply a subconscious grade consciousness. by then, you should tell em to think otherwise. if not, then let me be. it’s my fault anyway.
